Honestly, I didn’t want to start this category, because so many coffee shop fics fall under something else, but i’m finding more and more that are only relevant to the coffee shops and cafes tag so 🤷‍♀️

Summary:

He's not sure how it happened. One moment, he was the Winter Soldier, and the next he's working in a Brooklyn coffee shop, where the prickly owner is someone who treats him like a person, not a machine. And just maybe, he can be a person again.

Summary: Bucky likes his job at Natasha's coffee shop. Mostly that has to do with Steve Rogers, who wears a dorky hat to work and sketches on his lunch break but Bucky's not going to tell anyone that.

Summary: Steve Rogers runs a cat café that offers work to veterans just returning home. Bucky Barnes is the latest veteran recommended by Sam Wilson.

Summary: Steve just expects a normal morning, getting coffee from his favourite place. Instead, he's floored by the new barista, makes a fool of himself, and tries desperately to win his affection with courting gifts. ----- For Steve, it’s like being struck by lightning. One moment everything is the same as it always is, and the next, his world has turned upside down. It’s just visceral, his reaction. Every sense comes to life and he can’t focus on anything except the feeling that he’s just met the person he’s supposed to be with.

Summary: “Bucky, ew,” Becca scolds him as someone else leaves with their coffee and they all take another step towards the counter. “You’re my brother. I do not want to think about you two having sex every time Captain America’s on the news, thank you very much.” It takes everything Bucky is not to comment on how he always wants to think about them having sex whenever Captain America is on the news. ~ Or how Bucky should probably pay more attention to the people around him before talking obscenities about a National Icon.

Summary: AKA the "We make cute eye contact across the street, but when you ride your bike over to meet me, you crash and concuss yourself" AU

Summary: A couple of confused baristas, two cat adoptions and a cuddle pile later, Bucky has a perfect Christmas.

Summary:

After a week from hell scrapped Bucky’s Holiday plans all he wanted was a nap, a pizza, and for December to be over. But an unfortunate encounter with the hot guy down the hall meant that he definitely wasn't going to get his wish.

Summary:

Bucky is a blogging barista.

Steve is a sexy as sin superhero.

Bucky may or may not have a crush, but you can't prove anything.

At least, not unless you read his blog, which Cap obviously doesn't, right?

Right...?!

Download Available: Part 1 | Part 2

Summary:

Steve Rogers, first Avenger and certified organic idiot, wanders into a Brooklyn coffee shop and definitely does not develop a massive crush for the man behind the counter.

Not really set at any particular time in the comics or movies.

Summary:

“You’re not that bad, Steve,” Sarah reassures him, though she can’t be entirely sure. “I’m sure you must’ve gotten a little better at flirting since your high school days?”

Steve makes a face. “What on earth would give you that idea?”

“Well,” Sarah says, reaching over to give Steve's hand a consoling pat, “you have other qualities, my darling.”

“Such as?”

“You could out-stubborn a donkey,” she answers, without missing a beat. “You’ve got a decent singing voice, too. Dogs love you.”

Steve huffs. “Gee, thanks, ma. That's really helpful.”

Summary:

Steve Rogers would be the first to tell you he's had it rougher than some but better than most. His job at the coffee shop lets him do his art, work with his best friend, take care of his ma, and ogle the muscular mechanics at the local auto-body shop. His health and his love life could be better, but he's very aware of how lucky he is to have it this good. Oh, and live in Brooklyn. Simple life, simple pleasures.

Is it really so much to ask to be able to get across the street in one piece? Apparently.

Before he knows it, Steve finds himself on a collision course with every hotrod coming out of the lot, with the quiet but hunkalicious new hire at the body shop, and with... well, romance.
